A New Direction on a Old Path

2010 year has been a very interesting, but hard at times to handle and surprisingly many changes in my life. First amazing change is my oldest daughter was married in NY in January to a wonderful man and joined into a sweet Portugese family heritage. She also graduated with her Masters and looking towards a PHD. I love the way God works out every detail for the good and so many desires fulfilled beyond her dreams. My oldest loves learning, growing in so many variety of interests and cultures and her husband blends, enhances and brings so much joy to the table. My youngest daughter is living out her dreams in Rodeo, growing up into a wonderful young women with a bright future ahead and getting an education too... so far away from her empty nest mother. Our exchange student/daughter is moving away also to get her Masters in Florida. All of them starting new and exciting lives with all its challenges. Now, quiet and at times lonely, my husband and I build a new, different focused, and slower pace future. Jesus is the Lord in all the seasons of life and some how I must learn to adjust, enjoy and look for the blessing in these colorful and different perspectives in the golden years to come. Through reflections, prayers, and quiet thoughts, I humbly try not to fight and struggle too much as He chisels at the lump of clay and I allow my Savior to gently help me through if not carry me in my new life ahead.
