Hope Never Fails

I have been following and listening to “for King and Country”. for several years.  I love these brothers (Joel and Luke Smallbone) voices, how they blend and their music, words and performances brings excellences for all the fans and for the Glory of God. They are consistent in their message and are high energy performers. Their genre is international Pop/Rock but in my humble opinion a inspirational twist. I went to Dallas to visit my daughter and had the privilege of seeing them at First Baptist Church performing at the time several of my favorite songs  “The Proof of Your Love” and “Hope is what we crave”.  For King and Country are growing more popular every year. In the later part of 2012, Luke was diagnosed with digestive disorder but he didn’t think much about it and continued on tour and got sicker.  I wish I could have shared our story because my daughter has had crohn's disease since she was 16 and you don’t get rid of it … you manage it.  Luke writes, “… I got down to around 125 pounds. I had hit my lowest of lows, and for a guy that is 6’4 and that frail, I truly looked like I just got out of a concentration camp. I share this video because I know from experience; it takes bravery, tenacity, faith, longsuffering and so much more to go through life and difficulties.  How you look at it, walk through it, and find a way to deal with the reasons builds character, builds a story that when shared can do powerful things and most of all help others. I believe that God wants to use our stories, especially when it comes from your honest with yourself heart and you are able to show the victory through it.
